Application Process

It’s easy to apply to the ²ÝÁñÉçÇø! Follow these steps to Be Known at UM.

How to Apply

Apply online at .

  • You will be asked to create a personal login so you can access our UM Self-Service center where you can view the progress of your application.
  • You may self-report your high school GPA and ACT/SAT test scores. (If your GPA is 2.75 or greater, ACT/SAT scores are not required. However, an ACT score of 21 or higher is recommended.)
  • You will be notified by email regarding the status of your acceptance. The email will include your student ID number and your UM email.

Readmit Application


  • Complete this application only if you are a former ²ÝÁñÉçÇø student who wishes to return to complete a prior program, a new program within the same level (Undergraduate, Graduate, or Doctoral), or taking audit, licensure, or certificate courses in the same level as your prior degree at the ²ÝÁñÉçÇø.

If you have never attended the ²ÝÁñÉçÇø, please complete the New Student Application, linked above.

Submit Transcript & Scores

First-time freshmen may submit an unofficial high school transcript to umenrollment@umobile.edu. An official transcript must be submitted after your high school graduation.

Transfer students must submit official transcripts for all colleges/universities attended.

Exam codes for the ²ÝÁñÉçÇø are:

  • ACT – 0029
  • SAT – 1515

Submit Health Records

Submit proof of MMR shots to umenrollment@umobile.edu.

Complete the online TB risk questionnaire at . (TB skin test may be required after online assessment.)

Financial Aid

All students who apply for scholarships or financial aid are encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at . Students who complete the application process are considered for all types of assistance.

The ²ÝÁñÉçÇø FAFSA code is 001029.

Visit Campus & Earn a Scholarship

Traditional undergraduate freshmen and transfer students who visit the UM campus, apply and enroll receive a $2,000 scholarship!

Registration Checklist

Once you are admitted to the ²ÝÁñÉçÇø, you will be sent an email to RSVP for RamReady Registration. You will have an option to attend RamReady Registration on campus in April or June, or attend a virtual RamReady in July.

During RamReady Registration, you will:

  1. Make your nonrefundable down payment ($500 for living on campus, $250 for commuters)
  2. Choose campus housing options
  3. Take your student ID photo
  4. Meet your academic advisor who will guide you through the registration process
